Notification of Continental Surface Solution about the termination of all Flightfloor^® non-textile flooring products

Dear Sirs,

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to significant changes in the various markets in which Continental is active.

The aviation industry in particular has suffered an unprecedented slump in business as a result of the pandemic, the effects of which are not yet foreseeable for the coming years.
Some experts expect such drastic changes that the aviation industry will not be able to return to the pre-crisis business level in the long term.

Due to the difficult overall situation, we have reassessed the Flightfloor business. The difficult general conditions caused by the pandemic, the very slow expected recovery
and the uncertain prospects of success have led us to the decision that we will discontinue the business on June 30, 2021.

We regret that we will thus have to terminate our long-standing business and successful cooperation with you in the middle of this year.

Until then, we will organize a regulated exit with you so that you are able to reorient yourself with the necessary lead time.

We would like to thank you in advance for the pleasant cooperation and wish you all the best for the future despite the difficult circumstances. And the most important thing in these turbulent times is that we stay healthy.
