Aeronautics. In this sector, leather needs particular attention and care and is therefore produced with superior technology, creating first-rate quality which can be combined with refined, sophisticated taste.

This is how the collection AEROCLASSIC came into being. Finest upholstery leather produced from top-quality hides of European origin and tanned according to the criteria, designs and colours required by the aeronautical industry, in fulfilment of standard JAR/FAR 25853 (a) (b) (c), the fire-proof test and ABD 0031 for low smoke toxicity and density.

Leather processing has always had environmental connotations, resulting from both water consumption and the type and extent of waste products. Aware of this, our suppliers have paid particular attention to the environmental impact, not only committing themselves to respecting the standards in force, but also looking for possible alternatives and optimal solutions in respect of the surrounding environment. Their environmental policy consists in:

  • the use of machinery which minimises energy consumption rates and reduces pollution;
  • the use of their own depurator since 1974, with maintenance and improvements to the unit using the state-of-the-art purification technology and with daily monitoring of wastewater parameters;
  • the abatement plant for fumes from the spray pigmentation cabins.
